How about other Ont. Newspapers: Hamilton Spectator or Guelph Mercury?? Bizarre you would have Windsor and not bigger cities.

Good thing the app is free because its not worth much. Says it gives you choices. Shows choices - you just CANT choose.

I loved the app when it worked! The app no longer allows me to select a country from the drop down. Why is that? The drop down appears, but when I tap USA, it wont select it. I COULD scroll through every newspaper listed to find the 3-4 local ones I need, but that would take an inordinate amount of time. Please fix it. I really liked the app when I could get it to do what it was supposed to do.

I cant change the date range or anything on this app. It doesnt work.

It seems to still be stuck on the search criteria of "3 days." I had used this app a while ago and liked it then, but then it wouldnt let me modify what I want to search on. I reloaded it months ago but the issue was nit fixed. I tried again today to try using it again but still not able to customize my search range. Very frustrating.

Downloaded the app waited now 20 minutes still hasnt opened. In order to write a review you have leave a star of 1-5 but my star would be 0 which is in title as I was unable to do anything with this app. This is the third time Ive tried to leave a review as each time it said the user name was taken. Next time I will read the reviews on the app that I am not familiar with before downloading it. June 5, 2016 @ 10:55a.m.

It appears this app is only good if you already know someone has passed. You cant choose to search a specific newspaper or region. Even adding specific newspapers to "My Newspapers" takes forever to get all f them to load (only 20 at a time) before you can find the one you want. Once added, you cant select it to search only that newspaper. Ridiculous. I deleted the app immediately.

Searched for an obituary online for an hour without results, just as a fluke I downloaded this app and found the person I was looking for in less than 5 seconds!!!

Illinois is not listed as an option. The Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, Northwest Herald etc.

Ive only has this app for a short time but already it is proving worthwhile. I found it easy to browse local obituaries, which is very nice since I dont get the newspaper. I was surprisingly pleased when I put the app to the test. I searched for and found an obituary for a dear friend who passed in 2006. I never got to see the original obituary due to living to 300 miles away at the time.

This app is very good but not quite what I was looking for. What i was looking for was an app that could alert me when somebody i cared about may have recently died so i could attend the funeral. If this app would allow me to enter say about 10-20 saved search criteria and then every day do a search of the previous days obits for any of my saved searches and alert me if there was a hit, that would be awesome. Id even be willing to pay $1.99 for such an app. Thanks guys. Youre almost there.

Who knew discovering the death of a loved one (or a not-so-loved-one) could be so easy and entertaining? Bravo!

Great idea but didnt have my newspapers!! Detroit free press. The Detroit news! Cmon! Needs to be updated with more newspaper choices

Yes Virginia West By God Virginia is a state. However it is not listed you must get your info from people in Virginia. IDIOTS

App is crap can not even pull my own family up!

Everytime I scroll down the page, it goes back up. Please fix this! Then youll get at least a three!
